Our second task of the module after completing our cv’s was to create a portfolio on some of our past project so that we can show employers our work and also so that we can use them as a talking point during interviews.
The first step of my portfolio was to write four different case studies on four past projects. I chose a project from week one this year which was a smartwatch app:
The next project I chose was the banking brand from last year as I feel that its the most important project I’ve completed on the course because we completed it over a whole semester:
The third project I chose was the music app from first year, because it was a project that I quite enjoyed completing and adding my own unique features to the app:
The final project that I wrote a case study on was the web essay, I chose this as I want to display my ability to write an essay as well as the design of the webpage.
The next process was to chose how I wanted to create the portfolio, I talked about my decision in the week 2 writeup:
So I started to create the portfolio on Visual Studio Code, but towards the end of the process I started having problems with the web hosting for the HTML file. So I then started again using notion instead of HTML.
With the notion portfolio completed im happy with how it turned out although I would’ve liked to have finished it using HTML. Below is the link to my portfolio page.
