This week in class our lecture was on intellectual property and how as a designer we can protect our work and ideas. I found this weeks content quite interesting as its a topic that I hadn't thought about much when it comes to design or professional work, especially with the non disclosure agreements.
I had a look at the government website and found an article from October on protecting intellectual property on e-commerce stores. It looks at companies such as Amazon, eBay and TikTok shop and shows how to report copyright infringement.
For amazon if you want to report copyright/IP infringement you have to use the Amazon brand registry tool. You will have to register to utilise this tool which helps you manage and protect your IP rights on amazon, there are various benefits of registering such as:
