This week in class we looked at the Bauhaus which was a German art collective around the start of the 20th Century.
Piet Mondrian was a Dutch Painter and pioneer of abstract art in the 20th Century. Mondrian was a contributor and co-founder of the De Stijl art group, he called his art “Neoplasticism”, he used only the three primary colours to create his art pieces. Mondrian’s art still impacts today as he changed the course of abstract art and major art movements.
