For week 1 I was tasked with picking a typeface that I thought would be suitable for sketches.
I decided on the typeface Helvetica, as its a very popular font for business with companys like Jeep, Bmw, Panasonic and many more. Also that we see this typeface daily with things like street signs and title cards.
I watched Wilson Miner’s talk: “When we build”, I thought that it was very interesting from how technology has developed over time to how having a different perspective can change the outcome of our creative endeavours. There were quite a few quotes in the talk but my favourite was: “We shape our tools and our tools shape us”.
