In our first week of IXD101 we looked at Point, Line & Plane. They are the three fundamentals of design and can be used to create various pieces of art.
We first looked at point which is a building block of every design piece as any shape we put down on a piece of paper is a point, these points can be combined to create art of any kind. Point can also be useful when the artist wants to bring attention to a certain section.
These are some designs I created for point with some using symmetry and dominance in figma:
We then moved onto line which is another fundamental of design as lines serve as a connection between two different points.

Lastly we looked at plane, it shows dimension and movement within a piece. Planes are a combination of lines similar to how lines are a combination of points.
