During my first semester in first year I completed a project that was to write and then design an essay on an important designer. The designer that I decided to base mine off was Don Norman, because of his extensive work within the field of UX and human centered design.
I started the project by sketching some ideas of how I wanted the web page to look. I wanted the page to include interactive features so it would be easier for the user to navigate.
The next step of the project after finishing sketches was to start to wireframe my design on figma, wire-framing is important for the progression of my design to see how it looks digitally before i start my high resolution mockup.
After I had finished the wire framing I started to design the details of the essay on figma. I chose a black and white colour scheme, for my typeface I chose Bricolage Grotesque because i thought that it looked well as a heading.
After i had finished the design of my web essay I used the figma to framer plugin to transfer it over to framer. From there i had some problems with the layout not looking the same on framer so I had to spend more time fixing the problems on framer.
